Suburban voyeurism

I was really digging Amy Bennet’s paintings on very first glance. Then I read this interview and learned about her working style, and started thinking shes kind of amazing. She has built a Mr. Rogers style model suburban neighborhood, which she uses as a reference for her work. All her paintings are at the same scale, so that an interior will be a few inches wide while a scene including several houses will be several feet wide. So cool.
