History of Italian Horror

Black Sunday Poster

Its hardly exhaustive, but there is a decent primer of Italian horror films in three parts (1,2,3); covering directors like Mario Bava, Dario Argento, Lucio Fulci and Ruggero Deodato (no relation to Eumir).

Got any acid?

Folding U.S. currency into fancy symmetrical shapes will reveal things that have been, that are and are yet to be. And then, there’s Satan.

Pixel Dam

Pixel Dam

As much as I like the pixelart aesthetic, I have never been able to immerse myself into it totally for whatever reason. Still, the occasional pixelart site is fun to look at, if nothing else. Pixel Dam is a virtual city of contributed pixelart. Be sure to see the Tron city block in the Evergreen part of town.

Has anyone tried to do the pixel art thing? I have made half-assed attempts at it, but I lose patience before anything is finished.

which served as the cover to Queen of all Ears by the Lounge Lizards. Thanks, John; I laugh every time I see it.

People Eating People

Todd, Dan and Sean were discussing this disturbing news story when I met up with them last week. Unfortunately, I was eating sushi at the time.

Just in case there are few people still in the dark about it… (Thanks to John for the link)
